1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use our services. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under South African law.

2. Account Terms

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account
• Guest checkout is available; no account is required to place an order
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

3. Products & Pricing

• All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable
• We strive to display accurate pricing and product information; errors may occur and will be corrected
• Products marked “Coming Soon” are not yet available for purchase
• We reserve the right to modify prices, discontinue products, or limit quantities without notice
• Product images are for illustration purposes; actual products may vary slightly

4. Payment

Payments are processed securely through PayFast. We accept credit cards, debit cards, EFT, and other methods supported by PayFast. Your payment information is never stored on our servers. Orders are confirmed only once payment is successfully processed.

5. Shipping & Delivery

• We deliver nationwide within South Africa
• Free Pargo pickup point collection on all orders
• Standard door-to-door delivery: R99 (free on orders over R500)
• Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the specified address or pickup point

6. Returns & Refunds

Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details on returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property ofGadgetNest or its licensors and is protected by South African intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GadgetNest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in question.

9. Consumer Protection Act

These terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA). Where any provision conflicts with the CPA, the CPA shall prevail. You have the right to fair, honest, and reasonable dealings as a consumer, including the right to cancel direct marketing communications at any time.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa, subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant consumer tribunal where applicable.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the website. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
