Returns Policy

At GadgetNest, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may return eligible items in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).

7-Day Cooling-Off Period

Under Section 44 of the Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to return goods purchased online within 7 (seven) business days of delivery without providing any reason. This is your statutory cooling-off period.

Return Process

Initiate your return

Email us at support@gadgetnest.co.za with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

Receive return authorisation

We will respond within 1–2 business days with a return authorisation and shipping instructions.

Ship the item back

Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective.

Receive your refund

Once we receive and inspect the item, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

Return Conditions

Items must meet the following conditions to be eligible for return:

  • Returned within 7 business days of delivery
  • In original, unused condition
  • In original packaging with all tags, accessories, and manuals included
  • Not damaged by misuse, neglect, or improper handling
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Non-Returnable Items

  • Perishable goods or items with hygiene seals that have been broken
  • Custom or personalised items
  • Gift cards

Defective Products

Under Section 56 of the CPA, if a product is defective, unsafe, or not fit for its intended purpose, you are entitled to a replacement or full refund within 6 months of purchase. Return shipping for defective items will be at our expense.
